Marcia Lea is a Canadian artist whose work focuses upon light and atmosphere. Lea holds an Honours degree in Studio art from the University of Ottawa. She has also studied two years in the Fine arts Program at York University and taken watercolour at the Ontario College of Art. Her instructors have included: Paul Slogget, Ron Bloore, Ron Shruebruk, Ted Beiler, Alex Wyse and Gunter Nolte.
Lea's art work is included in the collections of the City of Ottawa, Bank of Canada, Omex Middleware of Zurich, Midland Walwyn of Toronto, The Toronto Stock Exchange, General Trust of Toronto, Telecom Canada of Ottawa, and the Canadian Imperial Bank of Canada in Toronto.

Marcia Lea currently paints in Ottawa and teaches art in the Ottawa area. Lea's art community involvement has also included three years as the elected Chairperson for the Ottawa local of the Canadian Artists' Representation of Ontario. She also represented Ottawa artists as Vice-spokesperson at the provincial meetings of CARO for four years.
Lea is an award winning member of the Canadian Society of Painters in Watercolour and a Fellow of the Ottawa Watercolour Society.
